Clyde Process Solutions plc

Clyde Process Solutions plc (LSE: CPSP) was admitted to AIM on 21 July 2006 and is a provider of customer-driven, material handling solutions for process industries.

Clyde Process Solutions is primarily involved with the design and implementation of value-adding, energy efficient solutions, which are used to handle the raw materials required to product commodities such as metals, cement, chemicals and ethanol.

The use of pneumatic conveying and air filtration technologies enables the Group's clients to solve challenges associated with other methods of conveying, including dust and material spillage and subsequent possible contamination of both operational environments and the local communities in which manufacturing facilities are based. The Group has an extensive, global reference list and has used its technologies to improve the operational effectiveness of their customers' production processes.

Pneumatic conveying solutions utilise controlled streams of air to move granular or particle-based bulk materials through various stages of a production process at a controlled rate of flow. Air filtration systems are used for the filtration and removal of process and nuisance dusts generated from the movement of granular materials used in process-based manufacturing environments.

Clyde Materials Handling Ltd provides pneumatic conveying, pneumatic injection and valve solutions to a global and diverse customer base which primarily operates in the metals and minerals markets. Clyde Materials Handling's customers include Codelco, Corus, Saint Gobain and Lafarge. Focused on the innovation, design and engineering of tailored solutions, Clyde Materials Handling has helped generate an array of operational, economic and environmental benefits within their customers' processes.

In April 2007, Clyde Process Solutions acquired, for £43m, MAC Equipment, Inc., a leading provider in the US market, focused on the design, engineering and manufacturing of customised pneumatic conveying and air filtration systems to customers in manufacturing environments, including food, chemicals, building products, plastics, ethanol and biodiesel industries. MAC Equipment's customers include PepsiCo and BASF.

Clyde Process Solutions plc has close to 40 years of experience in the pneumatic conveying and air filtration industry, backed by a wealth of process knowledge. The company is headquartered in Doncaster, UK, and employs 400 people throughout 10 worldwide offices to support its global customer base.
