Clyde Process Solutions plc - New Contract
Clyde Process Solutions plc
(“CPS” or the “Group”)
£1.5 million order secured from world leading steel producer
Clyde Process Solutions plc (AIM: CPSP), a provider of customer-driven, material handling solutions for process industries, announces that it has been awarded a £1.5 million order with one of the world’s leading steel producers, with the possibility of securing subsequent orders with this producer.
CPS’s operating subsidiary, Clyde Materials Handling Ltd (“CMH”), will provide this customer with a pneumatic conveying solution that will be installed on one of their major European production facilities.
This world leading steel producer is seeking to install a pneumatic conveying system capable of transporting pulverized coal from storage silos to further locations within their production facility. CMH faced significant competition from a provider of screw pump technology but the world leading steel producer selected CMH’s pneumatic conveying solution as it recognised the significant energy savings that can be generated from a CMH solution. In addition, the world leading steel producer was eager to utilise conveying technology that offered reliable, efficient performance, which CMH’s solutions are able to provide.
Commenting on this new order, Alex Stewart, Chief Executive of Clyde Process Solutions plc said: “We are delighted to secure this £1.5 million order with one of the world’s leading steel producers, which will enable them to deliver consistent levels of productivity, as well as providing significant energy consumption savings within their production facility.”
“We continue to see energy as a critical area of focus in our key customer markets. Our ability to provide low energy, environmentally enhancing solutions is adding strong economic and operational benefits to our customers. This order was secured with healthy levels of contribution and is in line with management expectations.”
